The Umbrella Academy (Gerard Way, Gabriel Ba, i Dave Stewart) - You can tell from the beginning that Gerard Way loves Grant Morrison, but the book doesnt read like a Morrison ripoff. Its got robots, chimps, crazy costumes, a dude called the Kraken& its an awful lot of fun. Every time an issue comes out, I reread the previous issues. Bas art isreally good too, especially with master of colors Dave Stewart on hand. Man, that guy. Hes far and away the best colorist working today. Ladies and gentlemen, the best superhero comic of the year!
